Jennifer Pan Adams: Stanford GoFundMe Promotion Records
Archived public posts establish Jennifer’s endorsement of the fundraiser, while the allegation that she later described it as fraudulent remains source-attributed.
Documented record
In December 2014, Jennifer Pan Adams publicly promoted a GoFundMe campaign created by her Stanford roommate. The campaign sought $25,000 and said the roommate’s father had withdrawn financial support unless she left Stanford. A contemporaneous screenshot showed $885 from 19 donors within 5 hours.
Jennifer’s Facebook endorsement said, “Please help out my best friend” and vouched that the organizer deserved her Stanford education. Those archived posts establish Jennifer’s promotion of the fundraising representations.
The source submission states that Jennifer later described the campaign as fraudulent, said donor complaints led to police involvement and laughed while recounting it. That later statement remains a source allegation pending police, platform or payment records.
