Jennifer Pan Adams: UTRGV Texas Residency and Tuition Records
A source review of the Texas property, address and signing records underlying the allegation that a Texas domicile was constructed for in-state medical-school tuition.
Documented record
The source submission alleges that the Adams family constructed a Texas domicile so Jennifer Pan Adams could qualify for in-state tuition at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine. In December 2017, the family acquired 2176 Abadeer Trail in San Antonio. Public-record profiles from the same period also carried an address written as “870 E Market St #353, San Antonio,” closely mirroring the family’s office at 870 Market Street, Suite 353, San Francisco.
The August 8, 2019 sale deed identifies Bradford Ping and Jennifer as grantors. Bradford and Ping executed their portions before a San Francisco notary, while Jennifer signed in Hidalgo County, where UTRGV is located. The sale occurred in the same month as the UTRGV white-coat ceremony associated with Jennifer’s enrollment.
The records establish the family-owned San Antonio property, the acquisition and sale dates, the parties’ signing locations, the address variant and Jennifer’s UTRGV attendance. The investigation concludes that the property and address were used to construct Texas domicile. No UTRGV or Texas-agency adjudication is included in the current record.
