DOCUMENTED CHAIN
This sequence uses the role stated in each cited record. The Alan H. Adams Family Trust and the Mae B. Adams Trust are separate trusts; Doppelgangers Charitable Corporation and the Doppelganger's venue are separate legal records.
Recorded instruments identify a son/father relationship. A 2010 Nevada Appeal report identifies Bradford as a Doppelgangers owner arranging the Carson City handoff. A June 2010 report identifies Alan as the venue's owner.
The 2008 gaming agenda lists AA Gaming Inc. doing business as Doppelganger's at 302 N. Carson Street, the Alan H. Adams Family Trust as 100% owner, and Alan as trustee, beneficiary and sole officer and director.
A separate 2010 entity record lists Alan as president, Bradford as secretary, Courtney Hawk-Clouser as treasurer and Justin Clouser as director. The graph does not treat the similar name as proof that this corporation owned the venue or made its reported donations.
A contemporaneous account says the Alan H. Adams Trust held 50% of Carson Nugget before the Mae B. Adams Trust bought Alan's shares. A later report says project land moved from Carson Nugget Inc. to the Mae trust.
The record describes a contemplated transfer from the Mae trust to the Hop & Mae Adams Foundation, followed by Foundation participation in the Nugget Project. The Board advanced the $49 million plan with stated public commitments.
Crowell praised Doppelgangers' pool-table and vehicle donations; the venue's CEO said he helped select recipients. In 2012, he defended the Nugget Project by pointing to $21 million in proposed private capital and no citizen debt.
What this establishes: a documented path through people, companies, trusts, land, a private foundation and public redevelopment decisions. The records support the labeled roles and transactions. They do not, by themselves, adjudicate corruption or establish that similarly named entities were legally identical.
